"We bought our '08 Lund 1750 Fisherman with Merc 115hp 4-stroke outboard new from R & R Marine in Shakopee. We were newbie boaters. Sales staff was most helpful. Listened to our needs and showed us different models that met those needs. No pressure; very patient with us; answered all of our questions no matter how dumb they may have sounded. We have had the boat for two years now, and absolutely love it!
There are other dealers, sure, but these folks know how to size up our needs and package a boat properly for the best value.
If there's room in this testimonial, I'd also like to put in a plug for R & R Marine's service department. I've taken our boat to them for winterizing for both years we have had it, and must say I'm impressed. Yes, I got an e-mail coupon from another company for winterizing, but when I called and asked if it included lubricating the steering system, they said that cost extra. What about lubricating the Bearing Buddies and winterizing the livewells and bilge? Nope, all of that would be extra, too. But at R & R Marine it is all included. By the time you pay others for all of the extra work that is included at R & R Marine, it will cost more than R & R's regular price.
Finally, I'd just like to put in a plug for the friendly staff, from Amanda, the receptionist; to Steve Olson in sales; to Ricky Brown in accounting; Roman in Parts and Service; and Frank Carpenter, the general manager. Just all around good folks. Our thanks and best wishes to them all. - Ken
